What is Confluence?
Multiple independent reasons pointing to the same trade — the difference between a setup and a guess.
Confluence is the stacking of multiple independent reasons behind a single trade idea. One factor alone — a zone, a candle, an indicator reading — is a weak basis for risking money, because every individual tool fails often. But when several unrelated factors agree — higher-timeframe trend, a liquidity sweep, a fresh order block in discount, a fair value gap, a lower-timeframe change of character, a session that supports movement — the probability that they are all wrong together drops, and the setup earns the risk.
Confluence is also the cure for overtrading, because it gives you a concrete reason to say no. At P4 Provider this is formalised in an 8-confluence checklist: each setup is scored against the list, and setups below the threshold are skipped without regret, however tempting the chart looks. The honest warning is against fake confluence — three indicators derived from the same price data are one reason wearing three hats, not three reasons. Genuine confluence combines different categories of evidence: structure, liquidity, zones, timing and confirmation.
Roman Urdu mein
Confluence ka matlab hai aik hi trade ke haq mein kai alag alag wajuhat ka jama hona — trend bhi, sweep bhi, zone bhi, confirmation bhi. Jitni zyada sachi wajuhat, utna mazboot setup. P4 Provider mein hum is ke liye 8-confluence checklist sikhate hain: score poora nahi to trade nahi, chahe chart kitna bhi pyara lage.
