Pip Value Calculator (USD & PKR)

A pip is the standard unit of price movement in forex — but its cash value depends entirely on your lot size. Until you know what one pip is worth in your account, statements like “the market moved 80 pips” tell you nothing about money.

This calculator converts pips into dollars and — because most of our students think in rupees — into PKR at a rate you control.

Value per pip$10.00

The quick reference

On USD-quoted majors like EUR/USD or GBP/USD, one pip is worth $10 per standard lot, $1 per mini lot, and $0.10 per micro lot. JPY pairs use two decimal places for a pip, and the dollar value floats with the USD/JPY rate — roughly $9 per standard lot at recent prices.

Multiply by your lot size and by the number of pips, and every trade plan turns into a concrete money plan. A 30-pip stop on 0.5 lots is $150 at risk — knowing this before entry is what separates planning from hoping.

Why the PKR view matters

Trading accounts are usually denominated in dollars, but your life runs in rupees. Converting pip values to PKR keeps risk honest: Rs. 42,000 at risk feels different from “$150” — and it should. Adjust the USD→PKR rate field to the current interbank rate for an accurate picture.

We teach students to define both their risk and their monthly withdrawal plan in rupees first, then translate to dollars — it anchors decisions in real purchasing power.
