What is Cryptocurrency?
Digital assets secured by cryptography and recorded on blockchains — a young, 24/7, highly volatile market led by Bitcoin.
A cryptocurrency is a digital asset secured by cryptography and recorded on a blockchain — a public ledger maintained by a distributed network rather than a bank or government. Bitcoin, launched in 2009, was the first; today thousands exist, from Ethereum with its programmable smart contracts to stablecoins that track the dollar. Crypto trades 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on exchanges around the world, with no opening bell and no weekend pause.
As a trading market, crypto is younger, thinner and far more volatile than forex: double-digit percentage moves in a day are routine, and entire cycles of euphoria and collapse have played out repeatedly. The same charting skills transfer — structure, liquidity and price action work on BTC/USDT just as on EUR/USD — but risk must be recalibrated for the wilder ranges. Traders in Pakistan should also understand local regulatory conditions and custody risk (where and how coins are held) before committing real money.
Roman Urdu mein
Cryptocurrency digital asset hai jo blockchain par record hoti hai — koi bank ya hukoomat ise control nahi karti. Yeh market 24/7 chalti hai aur forex se kahin zyada volatile hai; din mein 10-20% ka move aam baat hai. Charting ke wohi usool yahan bhi chalte hain, lekin risk ka hisaab naye siray se karein. Pehle seekhein, phir paisa lagayein.
