What is Asian (Tokyo) Session?
The quiet opening session of the forex day, roughly 04:00-13:00 PKT — often range-bound, and a map-maker for London.
The Asian session, centred on Tokyo, opens the trading day and runs roughly 04:00 to 13:00 Pakistan time. Volume is a fraction of what London brings, so most major pairs spend these hours in narrow, choppy ranges rather than sustained trends. Yen pairs such as USD/JPY and AUD/JPY are the natural exception, since Japanese and Australian economic data and regional flows land during these hours and give those particular pairs genuine, tradeable local activity of their own.
For most traders, Asia's real value is not trading it but reading it. The session's high and low form a well-defined range where stop-loss orders accumulate on both sides — a liquidity map that London very often raids at its open, sweeping one side of the range before making the day's real move. Marking the Asian range each morning, then watching how London treats it, is one of the simplest habits that connects session timing to smart-money behaviour.
Roman Urdu mein
Asian ya Tokyo session din ka pehla aur sab se khamosh session hai — Pakistan time mein taqreeban 04:00 se 13:00 tak. Zyada tar pairs is waqt tang range mein rehte hain. Is session ki asal value trading nahi, mapping hai: Asian range ka high aur low mark karein, kyunke London aksar pehle in levels ko sweep karta hai phir asal move deta hai.
