What is Kill Zone?

The few hours around major session opens — London and New York — when institutional volume makes the best setups fire.

A kill zone is a window of time, usually two to four hours around a major session open, when institutional participation is heaviest and the day's most meaningful moves tend to begin. The classic windows are the London kill zone (roughly 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning UK time, about midday to 3:00 PM Pakistan time) and the New York kill zone (roughly 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning New York time, about 5:00 to 8:00 PM Pakistan time), with a smaller Asian window relevant mainly for JPY and AUD pairs.

Kill zones matter because setups need volume to complete. A perfect order block touched at three in the morning may simply sit there, while the same touch during the London open gets the displacement that pays. These windows are also when the day's engineered liquidity runs occur — the London session famously sweeps the Asian session's high or low before the true direction of the day emerges. Time of day is therefore a legitimate confluence in its own right, and one of the checklist items we teach: the same A-grade setup deserves more trust inside a kill zone and more suspicion in the dead hours between sessions.

Roman Urdu mein

Kill zone woh chand ghante hain jab bare sessions khulte hain aur institutions ka volume market mein aata hai — London ka waqt Pakistan mein taqreeban dopahar 12 se 3, aur New York shaam 5 se 8. Behtareen setup bhi volume ke baghair nahi chalta, is liye time bhi aik confluence hai. Raat ke sannate mein wohi setup shak ke qabil hai.
